Muriel Pénicaud presides over the Young Talents Photo Awards 2025

The Young Talents Photo Awards, supported by Young Talents (AEF info group) in partnership with AFDAS, puts photography in the spotlight in an edition presided over by Muriel Pénicaud.

The competition is open to young emerging artists, students, self-taught individuals, and enthusiasts aged 16 to 30, with particular attention paid to participants from priority neighborhoods in urban policy. The goal is clear: to provide a platform for visibility, encourage vocations, and break the glass ceiling that still hinders too many talents. Under the theme "Imagine your future," this edition invites young people to imagine, project, and share their vision of a future that reflects them.

"Young people practice photography daily, and their art fully deserves to be recognized," note Danielle Deruy (AEF info group), Muriel Pénicaud, and Thierry Teboul (AFDAS).

For this 2025 edition, the jury, chaired by Muriel Pénicaud, included: Benoît Baume (Fisheye), Mathilde de l’Ecotais, Philippe Gueudar Delahaye (France Travail Services), Marie Joubert, Enzo Lefort (Olympic champion and photographer), Didier Pitelet (La Maison Henoch Consulting), Sabrina Ponti, Mathilde Soubie (Studio Artera), and Amélie Soubrie (FFPMI).

Participation in the 2025 competition is now closed. Candidates could submit up to three images, taken with a smartphone or camera, accompanied by a short presentation text.

The eight nominees will be announced between November 7th and 10th. The public can vote from November 10th to 19th, and the awards ceremony will be held on November 21st at the Maison de la Radio et de la Musique.

Discover the finalists and vote here until Wednesday, November 19th at 00:00 for the person who, in your opinion, best embodies the future to be imagined!

The rewards
The works of the eight winners will be printed by a professional laboratory and exhibited during the Rencontres Capitales at the Maison de la Radio et de la Musique (November 21–22, 2025).

The distinguished series will benefit from increased visibility on the event's networks. One of them will be presented during a conference at the Rencontres d'Arles and will be published in Fisheye.
