Symbiosis
For a long time, humans believed they were born to dominate nature. They even enshrined this belief in their religious texts. Aware of their growing power—which came with the development of intelligence and the creation of tools—they concluded that this power signified their superiority, not their responsibility. They failed to understand that they were merely a link in a complex ecosystem, rich in possibilities and deeply evolving.
This hubris, which has been growing for thousands of years, now threatens the survival of our species and many others. This blindness is disrupting the delicate balance of life on our planet.
Symbiosisinvites us to reconnect with wonder, cooperation, interaction, and coexistence between humans and nature. We are but a tiny part of the living world on which we depend for our survival. It is late in the face of the impending disaster that has already begun, but the future is not yet completely sealed. Symbiosisis a call to action in the name of beauty and life.
