“Who Are You?” | IMMERSION/S Fair, October 7–6, 2026, Bucherer, Paris
The “Qui es-tu?” collective participated for the second time in the IMMERSION/S fair, which celebrated its 5th edition from October 9 to 11, 2026, at the FAFCEA, a former printing plant dating from the early 20th century, in the heart of the Marais district in Paris.
First presented in October 2025 at this same fair, the exhibition *Qui es-tu? * offers a vibrant artistic reinterpretation of the photographic work *Qui es-tu, toi qui regardes?* by Muriel Pénicaud, winner of the 2024 Julia Margaret Cameron International Prize. Since its initial presentation, the collective has grown and now brings together twelve artisans.
Glass, metal, textiles, wicker, embroidery, brass, lacquer, plant-based materials, haute couture, featherwork, and marquetry… These materials and techniques complement one another to create works that blend perspectives, craftsmanship, and sensibilities. Each artisan has made the photograph their own to offer a personal interpretation. This artistic polyphony celebrates mastery of technique, artisanal excellence, and the dialogue between disciplines.
