Muriel Pénicaud at the Indian Photo Festival
After Athens and Paris, Muriel Pénicaud invites you to the Indian Photo Festival in Hyderabad, where she will exhibit a selection of works from her monograph Matrix of Worlds from November 20, 2025, to January 4, 2026.
The Indian Photo Festival (IPF), India's oldest international photography festival, has been celebrating the power of images to inspire change and conversation since 2008. A non-profit initiative of the Light Craft Foundation, the festival brings together leading national and international photographers and uses visual storytelling to raise awareness of the major issues of our time.
A platform dedicated to little-known stories and diverse voices, the IPF presents works that challenge perceptions, inspire empathy, and build bridges between cultures. Beyond exhibitions, the festival promotes dialogue through conferences, round tables, and interactive programs that bring art and social awareness closer together.
Committed to training a new generation of visual storytellers, the IPF offers mentoring, workshops, portfolio reviews, and exhibition opportunities. The festival has facilitated the awarding of more than 20 million Indian rupees in grants through its partners, supporting artistic growth and photographic innovation.
Invited by Aquin Mathews, director of the festival, Muriel Pénicaud will exhibit at the State Art Gallery in Madhapur and host a discussion on her career and artistic approach on Sunday, November 23 at 5:30 p.m.
