Funny Birds | June 20 – July 5, Ingwiller, Alsace

From June 20 to July 5, 2026, the French Federation of Bespoke Fashion Design will present the exhibition *Drôles d’Oiseaux* at the Ingwiller Town Hall, a multidisciplinary art project combining fashion design, arts and crafts, and contemporary photography.

Building on its previous exhibitions— *Pièces uniques*(2024) and *Entrez dans la danse*(2025)—the Federation continues its efforts to promote exceptional craftsmanship and bespoke design by offering a new artistic experience that embraces dialogue and a diversity of expression.

For this edition, the Federation is hosting the “Qui es tu?” collective of artisans, whose work revolves around the photograph *Qui es tu, toi qui regardes?* by Muriel Pénicaud, winner of the 2024 Julia Margaret Cameron International Prize. Twelve artisans each offer a unique interpretation of this work through their materials and craftsmanship.

The collective’s works resonate with the Federation’s fashion creations, weaving a sensory journey in which materials, volumes, perspectives, and identities interplay. The exhibition will also feature several photographs by Muriel Pénicaud from the series *Wind Under the Wings*, which serve as a poetic and introspective thread running through the exhibition.

Drôles d’Oiseaux invites the public to a unique artistic experience that blends emotion, movement, and contemporary creation.
