Muriel Pénicaud Honored in The Hindu: Photography as a Universal Language

The Indian daily newspaper, The Hindu, features a new article about Muriel Pénicaud, on the occasion of her exhibition in Pondicherry.

In this interview, Muriel Pénicaud shares her vision of photography as a universal language, capable of transcending cultural and geographical barriers. She favors black and white photography to « extract light from the shadows » and get to the heart of the matter. « Only light and structure remain… nothing superfluous or artificial. » For her, this choice brings a unique depth and allows everyone the freedom to project their emotions and imagination onto it.

“Photography is a way of telling stories without words, of making people feel rather than explaining.” – Muriel Pénicaud
