Who are you? Polyphony born from a photograph
First presented in October 2025 at the IMMERSION/S trade show with FAFCEA, the exhibition "WHO ARE YOU? Polyphony born from a photograph" offers a vibrant artistic interpretation of the photographic work Who are you, you who are watching? by Muriel Pénicaud, winner of the 2024 Julia Margaret Cameron International Award.
This project originated at the IMMERSION/S 2024 trade show, organized with FAFCEA and dedicated to Fine Crafts. This collective creation brings together nine artisans who, each through their expertise, create a dialogue between photography and materials such as glass, metal, textile, wood, lacquer, or vegetation. Together, they celebrate the richness and diversity of fine crafts by offering original and sensitive interpretations of the same work.
Through these eight original creations, the exhibition highlights the vitality of the crafts and reinvents the way materials interact, confront each other, and unite in a common work.
