Exhibition of the Julia Margaret Cameron Award Winners in Barcelona

From July 4 to 17, 2025, Fotonostrum organized an exhibition of the winners of the 23rd and 24th editions of the Julia Margaret Cameron Award at the Valid Foto space in Barcelona. Among the winning artists, Muriel Pénicaud, Overall Global Winner of the 2024 Julia Margaret Cameron Award for her photograph Qui es-tu, toi qui regardes ?(Who are you, you who are watching?), presented a selection of her works. The opening took place on July 3, 2025, from 6 to 8 p.m.

Created in tribute to the pioneering 19th-century photographer Julia Margaret Cameron, this international award celebrates the artistic achievements of women photographers around the world each year. It aims to encourage and promote their work, highlighting the diversity and richness of their perspectives on the contemporary world.
