About the Human at Work series
For women and men alike, work shapes our lives. Whether a source of fulfillment or a mere economic necessity, a lever for autonomy or a source of weariness, a symbol of success or subordination, it questions our existence, its meaning, our hope for a better life, and the strength of our solidarity. Work creates human bonds, shapes social identity, and promotes fulfillment, but it can also be a source of suffering for some.
From artisans toHomo Numericus in the age of artificial intelligence, from pleasure to fears, work nourishes us with projects, questions, and dreams.
